Section Closed on Wissahickon Green Ribbon Trail in Whitemarsh Township
A section of the Wissahickon Green Ribbon Trail in WhitemarshTownship will be closed to all trail use starting Monday, April 13, 2009.The section of trail that goes under the RR bridge (along the creek) will be closed for approximately three weeks to allow a permanent overhead canopy to be constructed.This area is accessed from FortWashingtonState Park's Militia Hill area and from West Valley Green Road. Trail users are asked NOT to enter this construction area.
