SEALED BIDS will be received by the County Controller for the County of Montgomery, in her office on the 5th Floor, 425 Swede Street, One Montgomery Plaza, Suite 508, PO Box 311, Norristown, PA., until 10:30 o’clock A.M., Prevailing Time, on, Thursday, May 5, 2011 for:  

SPEC #89335-6117-CG/rn Montgomery County - Norristown Library Facility Management Upgrades

Detailed specifications may be secured in the office of the Purchasing Agent, Suite 702, 7th Floor, 425 Swede Street, One Montgomery Plaza, Norristown, PA., between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. for a non-refundable fee of Thirty ($30.00) Dollars for paper documents and/or Ten ($10.00) Dollars for electronic files on disc.

Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the outside “Library Upgrades” and delivered to the Office of the Controller, on the 5th Floor, One Montgomery Plaza, prior to the 10:30 o’clock deadline on the date set forth above and must contain the required certified check or bid bond.

Bids will be opened publicly by the Commissioners of Montgomery County, on the 2nd Floor, One Montgomery Plaza, Swede and Airy Streets, Norristown, PA., at 11:00 o’clock A.M. on the same day.

All bidders are urged to attend a Pre-Bid Conference on

April 20, 2011 at 10:00 o’clock A.M. at the Montgomery County –Norristown Public Library, 1001 Powell Street, Norristown, PA 19401.

Notice is given that the project for which construction bids

are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to Davis-Bacon contract clauses and related acts found in 29 CFR 5.5(a).

The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to award the contract as is determined to serve the County’s best interest.
