The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) (California)
Dating back to 1977, the SVLG has grown to 200 Silicon Valley member companies that have a huge economic impact on not only the region but the world as well.  Collectively, its members employ more than 250,000 people in the Silicon Valley area.  With such a large stake in the success and livability of the area, this group has tackled a variety of issues, including affordable housing.  The SVLG annually organizes an Affordable Housing Tour to showcase affordable housing options ranging from apartments for families and seniors to special needs housing.  Click here for more information.
 
Greater Minneapolis Housing Fund (GMHF) (Minnesota)
The GMHF acts to provide a variety of housing services for municipalities across the state.  It offers technical and financial assistance for site design and development proposals that include new affordable homes.  The GMHF also gives incentives and assistance to employers who seek to provide housing assistance to their employees.  In addition to working to increase homeownership opportunities, the GMHF provides financing to support the construction of affordable multifamily rental housing.  Click here for more information on this organization.
