REACH Illinois (Illinois)
REACH Illinois (Regional Employer-Assisted Collaboration for Housing), along with Chicago’s Metropolitan Planning Council, Housing Action Illinois, and over a dozen other partners, works to promote the benefits and cost-savings of employer-assisted housing (EAH) programs across the state of Illinois.  The group’s partners administer the EAH program, provide homeownership education and financial counseling, and manage the down payment or rental assistance provided by employers.  With the assistance of REACH Illinois, over 1,000 employees have purchased homes since 2000, and only five of these employees have left their jobs.  Click here for more information on this program.
 
University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA)
In addition to its long-running employer-assisted housing program, the university’s Office of Community Housing hosts an annual housing fair.  This event matches up potential homebuyers with a variety of companies and services—title companies, mortgage brokers, home inspectors—as well as local realtors.  Additional resources are available at the Office of Community Housing.
