Limits: The intersection of PA 63 Main Street and PA 29 Perkiomen Avenue
Identified as a need in the Upper Perkiomen Regional Transportation Plan, the Jump Start Program partnered with the county’s smallest municipality to make this project happen. The new signal eliminated the evening backups on PA 63 by giving drivers a dedicated right-turn arrow onto PA 29. New lane striping along PA 63 also created separate turning lanes, which improved safety. This project is proof that even a modest improvement in a small borough can benefit an entire region.
