Mountgomery County, PA Court and Land Internet Access
NOTICE On October 2, 2006, the Recorder of Deeds Office is transitioning to a new computer system. We are excited about the change and improved service that we will be able to offer our constituents. When you login, you will see a revised search screen to access Montgomery County’s records. We hope you find the site easy to use and navigate. A printable Quick Reference Guide will be posted with instructions on how to use the system. It is designed to be user friendly and intuitive to use.
We ask for your patience as we go through this exciting conversion to the latest technology that will allow us to serve you better. We welcome any questions, suggestions, comments, and concerns.
Thank you for your cooperation, Nancy J. Becker Recorder of Deeds
The Prothonotary's Office has implemented new case management software, effective Monday November 14, 2005. Part of that update includes new web access. The search engine and search screens have been enhanced; and you will continue to have access to the same searches you enjoyed previously.
The Montgomery County Register of Wills and Orphan's Court implemented a new system on October 31, 2005. The Register of Wills' attorney inventory is no longer found under the Civil Attorney Inventory AOPC Number search, but has moved under the Register of Wills Active Cases section. The Estate Name Search and Estate Number Search pages have changed as well.

On July 1, 2006 Montgomery County Board of Assessment Appeals will be implementing a new property records system, replacing the old Land Records system. The County has contracted with Cole-Layer-Trumble, a division of Tyler Technologies, to convert the data from Land Records to their Assessment Administration module of their Integrated Assessment System. The county currently uses IAS for valuation of properties. CLT has partnered with a company called Akanda that specializes in wed-based applications. We supply Akanda with the data and they design the formats how the data is displayed.
After July 1, 2006, by clicking on the Board of Assessment Information link, you will access the new property records system. The new system includes the same search capabilities as the previous system; owner, street address, parcel number, but will provide you with new search capabilities and sort options. The new web page will also include photographs, if available, and an outline of the parcel on our new digitized maps.
