Biosketch of Gerald J. Birkelbach, Executive Director
Mr. Birkelbach serves as the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Department of Economic and Workforce Development, the Industrial Development Authority, and the Development Corporation. In this capacity he manages and oversees the County's many economic, financial, and workforce development services. He holds a B.S. degree "with Distinction" from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Birkelbach has completed an executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and courses in public finance at Moody's Analytics in New York.
