Montgomery County DRO Receives National Award
NORRISTOWN — The Montgomery County Domestic Relations Office has been recognized with the Team High Performance Award by the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement.
DRO was nominated for the award by Dan Richard, Director of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Child Support Enforcement, for being the first large county in the state to exceed federal performance measures.
“Montgomery County Domestic Relations is innovative in its approach to customer service, and commitment to achievement and performance at all levels,” Richard said.
Gary Kline, Director of Domestic Relations for Montgomery County, applauded his employees for their accomplishments.
“The staff is very dedicated and it’s rewarding to have our efforts praised in this manner,” he said. “It’s recognition from the highest level of government and demonstrates what is possible when you have committed staff and such strong support from the Court and County Commissioners.”
The County is on pace to collect $100 million dollars in Child Support this year and serves in excess of 50,000 clients.
