The Montgomery County Commissioners remain committed to pursuing commuter rail service from Philadelphia to Pottstown and beyond.
The proposed Schuylkill Valley Metro, which would cost $2.2 billion, does not appear to have enough support because of the high cost. Nevertheless, the Commissioners are still interested in pursuing cheaper alternatives.
