SEPTEMBER 11, 2006 – MEMORIAL SERVICE
NORRISTOWN – On Monday, September 11, a memorial service was held to commemorate and honor the fifth anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11. Steve Nelson, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Policy and Planning was the master of ceremonies. Montgomery County Commissioners’ Chairman, Thomas Jay Ellis gave remarks. In addition, names of the 11 Montgomery County residents killed during the attack were read by Montgomery County Commissioner James R. Matthews and Montgomery County Commissioner Ruth S. Damsker.
