MONTGOMERY COUNTY TO HOST SAFETY FAIRS
NORRISTOWN — The Montgomery County Commissioners would like to invite the public to join County employees and attend either of two free Safety Fairs in June.
The fairs are being held in conjunction with National Safety Month and the theme is “Making Our World a Safer Place.” The goal of the event is to prevent accidental injuries and death by influencing people to adopt and maintain healthy practices and behaviors in all aspects of their lives.
The first of the two planned Safety Fairs will be held on Wednesday, June 21st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Room at the Human Services Center, 1430 DeKalb Street, Norristown.
The second Safety Fair will be held on Thursday, June 22nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Plaza outside the Montgomery County Court House, Main and Swede Streets, Norristown.
The Safety Fairs will include interactive activities that attendees can participate in and vendors will be on-site to hand out safety information and give-a-ways.
