PUBLIC MEETING FOR NORRISTOWN FARM PARK MASTER PLAN UPDATE
NORRISTOWN — The Montgomery County Department of Parks & Heritage Services will hold an open public meeting to solicit input and comments regarding the update of the Norristown Farm Park Master Plan.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the East Norriton Township Building, 2501 Stanbridge Street, East Norriton, PA 19401.
The current plan was adopted in 1992. The meeting will involve a brief overview presentation followed by a discussion period.
Attendees can browse through informative displays on topics such as the original and current Master Plan and proposed minor revisions to the Master Plan, including the activity areas, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, trails and linkages, historical resources and farmland operations.
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask in-depth questions and give feedback on proposed changes to the plan. Feedback received will help guide the final draft of the plan.
