FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL TO PROMOTE CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
NORRISTOWN — A Family Fun Festival to promote children’s mental health issues and celebrate Mental Health Month in a child friendly atmosphere will be held Sunday, May 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lower Perkiomen Valley Park in Oaks.
The Child and Adolescent Service System Program of the Montgomery County Mental Health and Mental Retardation office is sponsoring the festival.
This free event will include family activities such as basketball, volleyball, face painting, arts and crafts projects and additional carnival type activities as well as refreshments. Mental Health providers and additional collaborative partners will be providing information about their programs and services all day.
