CENSUS BUREAU OFFERS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The United States Census Bureau has announced several employment opportunities for Field Representatives in Montgomery County. Field Representative is a long-term, flexible hour, part-time position where employees conduct survey interviews in person and by telephone. There are numerous types of surveys to be conducted.
To qualify as a Field Representative, applicants must:
- be a US citizen,
- be 18 years or older,
- have a telephone,
- have a valid drive’s license and the use of an insured car,
- pass a 30-minute test that will be administered in the Norristown area during the month of September.

Training and mileage while working are paid. Field representatives must be available to work mornings, afternoons and evenings during the week and on weekends.
Veterans must provide a copy of their DD Form 214, Discharge Certificate, if claiming 5-point veterans preference. An SF 15, Application for Veterans Preference, with a copy of required documentation, if a 10-point veterans preference is being claimed.
