The Montgomery County Commissioners are pleased to announce that two exceptional interns are participating in the county planning commission's intern program.
“The program gives interns an opportunity to find out more about planning from a county planning perspective. Our interns are able to gain work experience in a field they are considering pursuing, and the planning commission staff has the opportunity to work with students who are very excited about the field of planning,” said Anne Leavitt-Gruberger, intern program coordinator for the planning commission.
Michele Deery of East Norriton Township graduated from Temple University Ambler in May with a B.S. degree in landscape architecture. She plans to specialize in nonstructural storm water management design.
Jacob Feinberg of Abington Township is pursuing a degree in urban studies from the University of Pittsburg. After his expected graduation in 2012, he will seek a career in planning and community development.
