UPPER DUBLIN — The Montgomery County Office of Developmental Disabilities will hold an informational session on Thursday, May 28th at Dresher Estates (Brandywine Assisted Living Residence), 1405 N. Limekiln Pike.
There will be a meet and greet from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by presentations until 8:30 p.m.
Adults with development disabilities, students transitioning into the adult service system and their family members and guardians are invited to attend along with life skills special education teachers and transition coordinators.
Topics that will be covered include information on the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities System and how to negotiate it, understanding Supports Coordination and places to go for further information.
