The Montgomery County Commissioners announce the termination of an employee for taking funds from the Montgomery County Police Chief’s Association.
Robert Linsinbigler, administrator of the County’s Public Safety Training Campus, was terminated today after it was discovered checks had been written by him for improper personal use.
“We took action to dismiss Mr. Linsinbigler as soon as it was discovered that he misused funds,” Montgomery County Commissioners Chairman Jim Matthews said.
“We will not tolerate having an employee who steals,” Matthews said. “We’re turning this matter over to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution. I have directed our solicitor to seek the immediate return of the missing funds and a complete financial review of any funds which Mr. Linsinbigler may have had access.”
Mr. Linsinbigler began working for the County on May 20, 1985 and earned an annual salary of $70,768.
