NORRISTOWN — Formal introduction of Montgomery County’s 2009 budget has been rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 1st, at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Board Room on the 8th Floor of One Montgomery Plaza.
The Commissioners will present the budget to the public at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd in Courtroom B of the Court House.
The Commissioners have been working diligently for weeks to close a $42 million budget gap and avoid a tax increase.
A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16th and final adoption for Monday, Dec. 22nd, at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Board Room on the 8th floor of One Montgomery Plaza.
