Montgomery County Community College Opens New Resource Center in Downtown Norristown
NORRISTOWN — The Montgomery County Commissioners and Montgomery County Community College are pleased to announce the opening of the college’s new Resource Center in downtown Norristown.
A dedication ceremony will be held at the new Resource Center in the lobby of One Montgomery Plaza, directly across the street from the Montgomery County Courthouse, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1st.
The Resource Center enables the College to provide residents of Montgomery County and the Borough of Norristown with greater access to an array of educational services that promote, support, and inspire academic pursuits and lifelong learning.
The Resource Center is open to the public from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Center’s staff is available to work individually with students and potential students to help them identify their educational, employment and life goals in order to provide a customized program to meet those goals.
Specific services available include academic advising, career counseling and exploration, financial aid assistance, placement testing, public transportation information, credit and non-credit course scheduling, job placement information, and information and tickets for cultural events on campus.
