NORRISTOWN — In honor of the Phillies first playoff appearance in 14 years, the County Commissioners have declared Wednesday “Phillies Day” in Montgomery County.
The Commissioners are urging all 3,200 County employees to wear Phillies gear or red to work Wednesday and a Phillies flag will fly below the County flag at the Montgomery County Court House, starting Wednesday, until the team’s anticipated World Series victory.
The Court House will also be bathed in Phillies’ red and white light throughout this playoff run.
