A contempt conference will be scheduled if the payer becomes delinquent in Court Ordered support payments or in conditions such as providing medical insurance. Contempt conferences are conducted at the One Montgomery County Facility by one of our trained professionals.
At the contempt conference an Officer of the Court will review the situation and recommend a payment arrangement that will resolve the delinquency. If an arrangement cannot be made, the case will be continued to the afternoon session of Court. The Officer will present the case to the Judge for final disposition, which may include incarceration.
