About LEJIS

The ability to exchange information is critical to the security and defense of the region, to identify potential threats, intercept weapons of mass destruction, and isolate and prosecute those who would commit acts of terrorism.

Regional Justice Information Sharing is a systematic approach that facilitates information exchange between law enforcement and justice related personnel and organizations.

The Law Enforcement Justice Information Sharing Project (LEJIS) is a project of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Counter-Terrorism Task force (SEPAR-CTTF).  The SEPAR-CTTF is a regional entity formed to develop and maintain the safety of the region and receives much of its funding through the Federal Department of Homeland Security.

The LEJIS approach provides dual service - not only for protection against terrorism, but also in the day-to-day operations of first responders to assure the public safety.

For further information, we've included a whitepaper with conceptual details.
