POSITION:       Youth & Family Advocate

DEPARTMENT: Youth Center (Shelter)

SALARY:           $13.18, per hour                 

DESCRIPTION:

This is an entry-level position working with dependent and neglected youths between the ages of 10-18, in the Emergency Shelter Division.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

·         Bachelor's Degree, preferably in social sciences, with at least one year
  of experience.

·         Driver's license or reliable transportation.

·         No record of criminal convictions or history of child abuse.

·         Must be available to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.

·         Must be capable of working with young adolescents during crisis
  situations.

·         Must obtain a physical examination report from a licensed physician prior
  to employment.
