Resources for Food
Montgomery County has a variety of food resource programs to serve its residents. Montgomery County Community Action Development Commission (CADCOM) acts as a resource center for food programs throughout the county. You may contact them at 610-277-6363. The Montgomery County Personal Navigator Program connects any county resident to government assistance programs, such as food stamps, and community service organizations at no cost. You may contact the Personal Navigator Program, managed by VNA Community Services, through their toll-free number 1-877-747-7257.

 

Angel Food Ministries provides low-cost foods for families; there are no eligibility requirements. A box of food which feeds a family of four for one week costs $30. There are various locations in Montgomery County that manage this program, please visit www.angelfoodministries.com to find a location near you.

 

Contact the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Call-in Change Center toll-free at 1-877-395-8930. They will assist you in learning about how to apply for benefits, request forms or check your case status.
