Welcome to the Montgomery County Parent
and Infant web resource guide sponsored by the Infant Health Advisory Council.
Established in December 1999, the Council is comprised of county human service agencies,
hospitals, non-profit organizations and concerned citizens. The primary goal is to improve
birth outcome of infants in Montgomery County and work to eliminate racial disparities.
This web database contains maternal and
child health resources information designed for the public and helping professionals. The
aim is to encourage and foster collaboration and communications among service providers to
help minimize redundant services, to provide services to all Montgomery County residents
and to assist customers in determining what is in the best interest of his/her own family.
This web site is far from finished and will be an
ongoing program in progress. We will continue to update, improve and develop new features
to enhance what is currently being offered. Should you have any questions, suggestions or
comments regarding this site please call Barbara Hand, Infant Health Coordinator at
610-278-5117 extension 6724or email bhand@mail.montcopa.org.
