These are on every dispatch console. They are part of the Motorola Centracom Gold Elite console system and they provide the dispatchers with selected audio ( left speaker ) and unselect audio ( right speaker ). Two volume controls just inboard of the speakers provide individual control of each speaker level. Center display is a VU metter showing transmit audio level. White button to right of meter is an auxillary push to talk switch added by the county due to the high failure rate of the original switch. ( Oval below meter )
Zetron Model 25
The Zetron Model 25 encoders are in the Fire and EMS consoles as backup to the main paging system which is 2 redundant Zetron 2200 encoders. The Model 25's allow dispatchers to manually enter a 4 digit number into the keypad to send a set of paging tones.
Individual Ventilation System
These units are part of the Writeline consoles. The unit on the right controller fan speed as well as intensity control of task lighting and temperature of the foot warmers. The unit detects when no one is at the console for several minutes and shuts off all of the equipments tied to it.
Telephone System Banner Board
These boards (there are 2 in dispatch 1 in EOC and 1 in administrative area) provide feed back as to how many dispatchers are available for calls and what types of calls are in progress. These boards are fully programable and can change the entire depending on many type of criteria. (ie: Flash the display if a call is waiting to long.) These boards are part of Vesta phone system.
