MISSION KIDS PARTNERS WITH CORNER BAKERY CAFE TO RAISSE MONEY AND AWARENESS
Local Non-Profit Announces New Program To Help Combat Child Abuse

E. NORRITON, PA, August 3, 2009 – Mission Kids announced today the launch of a new initiative with the Corner Bakery Cafe to help increase awareness of child abuse and the importance of helping victims and their families throughout the healing process. The program, which is offered through catering at participating Corner Bakery Cafe locations, begins today.

Mission Kids is urging the community to help support the organization by catering through the Corner Bakery. For every catering order you place, ten percent will benefit Mission Kids and help them protect and educate children throughout Montgomery County. Customers simply need to mention Mission Kids upon placing their catering order.

“The Rose Group is always looking for new ways to give back to our local communities,” said Jeff Warden, COO of The Rose Group. “We are thrilled to be supporting Mission Kids through one of the things we do best, our catering.”

Located in Montgomery County, Mission Kids aims to ease the criminal justice process for abused children throughout the area. The organization works to educate children and their families on how to identify and prevent child abuse, and helps victims receive the necessary services to help them heal.

“Our goal is to help children receive the support they need,” said Abbie Newman, Executive Director of Mission Kids. “The Corner Bakery Cafe is bringing us one step closer to achieving our mission of helping kids and spreading awareness.”
