District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman is deeply committed to keeping our kids safe.  The District Attorney’s Office works closely with local, state and federal law enforcement officials to ensure that children in Montgomery County are protected against all types of criminal activity, both in and out of school.  Our office also works with other agencies, such as Mission Kids and the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, to ensure that children’s interests are protected should a child become part of a criminal prosecution.

 

The District Attorney's Office hosts specially designed programs to teach children and their parents about the dangers of sexting, internet safety and cyber-bullying, teen driving safety, prescription drug abuse, drug identification, domestic violence awareness, and mental health awareness.
