The Bomb Squad was formed in 1973 and has continued to support local, state and federal officials and provides security clearance services when visiting dignitaries appear, including the President of the United States. The Deputy Sheriffs assigned to this unit must complete training in Huntsville, Alabama. They are trained intensively by the military in conjunction with the F.B.I. We will offer our services on any request from a Fire Marshal or police department in Montgomery County.
